Welcome to Akezi. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the access to and use of the Akezi app, website and other services ("Platform"), operated by Oligon Technology ("Akezi", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you ("User") represent that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Akezi is an intermediation platform that connects Clients with self-employed Professionals, facilitating the discovery, booking, payment and review of beauty services. Akezi does not provide the beauty services, does not employ the Professionals and is not a party to the service relationship, which is established exclusively between Client and Professional.
To use the Platform you must create an account with truthful, complete and up-to-date information. The User is responsible for keeping their credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under their account. Use by persons under 18 without the assistance of their legal guardians is prohibited.
The Client selects the Service and an available time slot and confirms the booking by paying a deposit via Pix, corresponding to a percentage of the service price (currently 30%), processed by our partner payment institution (Mercado Pago). The remaining balance may be paid, according to the options available on the Platform: (i) directly to the Professional at the time of the appointment, using whatever methods the Professional accepts; or (ii) through the app itself (card or Pix), via the checkout of our partner institution (Mercado Pago). The deposit secures the booking and protects the Professional against no-shows. Prices and availability are set freely by the Professionals.
Use of the basic listing and booking tools is free for the Professional. Akezi may charge:
After the appointment, the amount due to the Professional — less any applicable fees — is transferred through the available means. All commercial conditions are presented transparently on the Platform and may change upon prior notice.
Refunds are processed through the same payment method, subject to the timeframes of the financial institution.
Right of regret: under art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, the Client may withdraw from a purchase made through the Platform within 7 (seven) days of the purchase, provided the appointment has not yet taken place, with a full refund of the amounts paid.
Clients may review completed appointments, including a rating, a comment and photos of the result. The User is responsible for the content they post and warrants that they hold the necessary rights. Offensive, illegal, defamatory content, or content that infringes the rights of third parties, is prohibited. Akezi may moderate or remove content that breaches these Terms.
The User undertakes to use the Platform in good faith and not to: (i) provide false information; (ii) circumvent the payment mechanisms; (iii) harass other Users; (iv) use the Platform for unlawful purposes. The Professional is solely responsible for the quality, safety, licenses and taxes relating to their services.
As it acts as an intermediary, Akezi is not responsible for the performance, quality or outcome of the services provided by the Professionals, nor for any damages arising from the relationship between Client and Professional. Akezi makes efforts to keep the Platform available and secure, but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The brand, logo, software and other elements of the Platform belong to Akezi / Oligon Technology and may not be used without authorization.
Akezi may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the law. The User may close their account at any time through the app.
These Terms may be updated. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Continued use after an update implies agreement.
Akezi Studio is the set of management tools offered to the Professional: calendar, cash register and cash flow, product and inventory control, point of sale (POS), team/staff and client CRM. By using it, the Professional:

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of the Consumer's domicile are elected to settle any disputes, in accordance with the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
